fits over my chimney started just fine

Good but this is a criticism of me, not this product:Do not rub high smoke-point oil on the grill prior to use.
High smokepoint oil is good for regular grills, this gets to 600f which will burn any oil you put on the grate.Can't recommend this item enough.

Pros

I think the title sums it up. It fits your standard charcoal starter chimney.

Cons

Takes longer to heat up and prepare than other grilling methods
