buy recommendation for this watch strap. How can you go wrong for nine bucks? The stock 18mm strap that came with my Seiko 5 field watch (SNK809) is junk. I switched to this strap because its sandblasted finish matches the finish of the case and the combination of black and gray complements the black dial and gray case. (Note: the description says the hardware is matte but is actually shot peened). In terms of comfort, I literally don't take this watch off and practically forget it's on my wrist. That's partly because the watch is so light, and partly because this strap is so comfortable it becomes invisible. (The standard Seiko strap was stiff and scratchy.) I have an 8 inch wrist and this strap was long enough for me. The end of the strap fits perfectly under the second locking ring for me. (Note: YMMV, depending on your wrist size.)
