It would be much better if they were textured for grip and extended for larger corn on the cob!

They are difficult to use when removing corn as they are slippery and difficult to slide over the cobs. I wish they had a rough texture or some kind of lever handle! Doesn't work on every ear of corn as the size of the inner blade doesn't change. If the ear is too large in diameter, they cannot be used.
