The quality of the rubber is excellent and the value for money of the protection is excellent. However, I couldn't get the lower plugs through my plate without modification (shaving off the plug head by reducing the diameter). I tried pinching the corners of the unmodified fork and pushing from behind, but it didn't work. Others with oval plate holes or nearly the same diameter may work for you. I was happy with my modification. The frame is flexible so it takes advantage of the rigidity of your license plate or license plate mount. I only have (2) top screws on the top half of this machine's mount. I wish my car had a full bracket so I could use the (4) screw installation method. I didn't like the stiffness with just the (2) top bolts. But that's just me, it's a flexible framework after all. Spring. Since I modified the end caps and didn't like the result of the (2) screw mount on this car, it sits on a garage shelf for future use on a car with a (4) screw mount or full front license plate bracket.
