Works. That is the point. It's beautiful with blue light and practical with switches. What I don't like is that. (And I have other hubs that don't have these problems) 1) The printer doesn't work at all through the hub. 2) The cable is not short and not long. It's too long to stay close to the laptop without getting in the way (when folded on its own) and too short to move it out of the way. It would be better if it was longer or shorter. It's just the wrong length. 3) When you turn on the laptop, sometimes nothing is registered from the connected. Toggle the switches and still see the result. You must unplug and plug it back in for the items to be registered on the laptop. 4) The hub doesn't have enough bandwidth to charge a cell phone, even if the phone is the only tumbler that's turned on. I may be using it incorrectly, but as I said, I have several other hubs that I've used and have never had problems like this. I wanted this one and liked it because of the toggle switches and the blue light. the lights. Too bad it doesn't work without the mentioned glitches.
