When we first received the original chair cover, we discovered a small hole on the front of the center back piece. Then we asked for a replacement. When we started to put it on, we pulled one of the elastic straps from the center back piece to attach it to chair, following the directions, and then the strap tore off. Rather than asking for another replacement, I securely sewed the strap back on from where it ripped. Other than those two issues, the chair cover is soft and looks nice on our recliner. I haven't needed to clean it yet so I don't know how it holds up when I will need to do that.
