I bought this cable so I can connect an external Wi-Fi card to my laptop without blocking the nearby USB port. Unfortunately, when plugged in, the female end of the cable is backwards, so I can't connect the Wi-Fi card and all other peripherals must be connected the wrong way. This is a pretty big problem with a thick 6-inch cable that can't be easily twisted to fit properly without putting a lot of strain on it. If you need to connect your peripherals with the cable in the same orientation as your computer's USB port, skip this product.
