Not for older AC devices. You have to pull hard to get through.
So I have a brand new air conditioner and thought it could handle the increased filtration capacity. I do not think so! Shortly after I installed this filter we had an issue with our block, after we removed it it worked perfectly. Is there such a thing as a too thick filter? It's definitely quality and I bought a train block for our lower floor where I put it. It worked for a couple of weeks but I could hear it and it seemed to me that the check valve was working a little. I'll try again, but you definitely need an updated and new device for that.
