Way Underrated - Portable Audio & Video

I've tried almost all portable speakers and this is my favorite. From the following: UE Boom, JBL Flip (My second favourite), Sharkk, Anker (Small and Large Cube, Premium), Fugoo, Sony SRSX5, Oontz Angle, Oontz Round, MagicBox, JBL Clip. Sony sounds better. I understand there are different considerations, but the sound was my biggest. I use them where I want to be. Not in the rain, not on the beach, not in the mud; but where most people are most of the time: at home, in the kitchen, at the table, in the room before bed, in the office, on the terrace, in the park. If you need something more weatherproof, turn to JBL. . If you're a weirdo, check out the sturdy Fugoo (which should be able to handle parkour during a thunderstorm). He will surprise you every day. This is a speaker that people cannot believe produces the sound they are hearing. It sounds better than my Dell computer speakers with a separate AC powered subwoofer. The build quality is excellent. The battery is more than adequate unless you're traveling through the Australian outback on a camel or elsewhere where you don't have constant access to a power source. The sound is incredible for a speaker of this size. It's really amazing, has a deep, tight sound at any volume. Some have a threshold they cannot go below, which is bad for sleep or office work. It won't annoy your booth neighbors and is convenient for conference calls. All positive reviews are true. This speaker is truly amazing. I have to admit, when I think of Sony, I think of Betamax, memory cards and minidiscs. It really is fantastic and worth every penny (and you save pennies too compared to UE Boom, Fugoo, Bose).

Pros
  • understandable even for the old ones
Cons
  • Some little things
