Deep and rich sound! Happy with my purchase!

Very happy with the purchase of this Sony SRSX3 Bluetooth speaker! Using several different brands of portable Bluetooth speakers (Anker, EcoXGear, Bose, JBL, UE Boom, Magicbox, etc.) I found this particular speaker to have some of the deepest and most powerful bass with crisp/clear sound. for a small hall for 10-15 people! The price is certainly a little higher than most ($150-$200 for a new one) but it's easy to get angry when you're buying a 'used' speaker from a reputable seller with greatโ€ฆ

NOT RECOMMENDED: Portable speakers and docking stations

UPDATE April 2018 Wired or Bluetooth static NOT RECOMMENDED for me After ordering. I went and compared the Sony SRSX3 to the Bose Soundlink Mini at Best Buy and immediately thought I made a mistake buying the Sony VS Bose. Not sure how Best Buy wired their display speakers for the review as the Sony sounded really bad and the Bose sounded really amazing and I was sure I would return the Sony. Not so personal! The Sony is easy to use and sounds just as good or maybe BETTER than the Bose Miniโ€ฆ

You won't regret buying this speaker

I should try this speaker at Target. I fell in love instantly. They didn't have any white in stock so they went straight to Revain and bought it. This speaker is very loud. He has great bass. He's small but has such a powerful punch. White looks very nice. The only thing missing is a scale showing the battery charge level. The charging indicator will flash and the sound will automatically turn down when it dies after about 10 minutes, but you can use I while it's charging, so that's a plus. Myโ€ฆ

Great Bang for the Buck

First of all the speaker is very good for the price you pay. In a relatively quiet room, it will easily fill the room with sound. With that in mind, it's great for completely casual listening if all you want is background music. If you start getting too picky about sound quality, there are a few issues; Up close, you can tell the speaker plays bass well, but isn't very loud from a distance. If you hit the "Sound" button (which I think should emulate surround sound), the highs and mids becomeโ€ฆ

LOVE IT! REVISED RATING!

I bought this for my laptop because I LOVE listening to music and hate the cheap, distorted plug-ins that exist and that I've tried. After a lot of research I settled on this Sony and I really love it! I'm not a techno fan, I don't use my phone for anything other than my phone so I don't need to pair it with other devices etc. This little box is a bomb and although it's no longer made I'm so happy I did bought them. It was so easy to set up and the sound quality was amazing! Since I have a very

Similar to X5: Portable Audio & Video

The speaker is quite solid and durable. First charged for 5 hours as instructed and lasted 8.5 hours on low to medium volume. It has excellent sound quality with deep bass. More bass, you'll get tired of that like the Soundlink Mini. It actually sounds better with less bass and more mid/treble, so the speaker is proportionally louder. I want it to sound more balanced like my TDK A33, more bassy but more neutral. I definitely like the bass, but not overly accentuated like Bose or the Sonysโ€ฆ

Looks great sounds good

This speaker looks good and sounds good at medium volume. The mids are very crisp and the highs are crisp but not harsh, although they do distort a bit at higher volumes. The bass is amazing for a device of this size, but at higher volumes the device cuts off the bass noticeably. The sound button expands the sound a bit, I never turn it off and I don't know why you should, it sounds better. Changing a few EQ settings can help combat mid- and high-frequency distortion and increase the overallโ€ฆ

Way Underrated - Portable Audio & Video

I've tried almost all portable speakers and this is my favorite. From the following: UE Boom, JBL Flip (My second favourite), Sharkk, Anker (Small and Large Cube, Premium), Fugoo, Sony SRSX5, Oontz Angle, Oontz Round, MagicBox, JBL Clip. Sony sounds better. I understand there are different considerations, but the sound was my biggest. I use them where I want to be. Not in the rain, not on the beach, not in the mud; but where most people are most of the time: at home, in the kitchen, at theโ€ฆ

Much better than expected

This speaker is much better than I expected. I've only heard a few small Bluetooth speakers and found them to sound weak and tinny. However, the Sony SRSX3 delivers amazing sound. I understand why professional reviews compare it to the Bose Mini. I have Bose Companion 2 bookshelf speakers, the sound is comparable. I didn't go to the store and compare the speakers before buying, but it's a good idea. I've read countless reviews of all the popular (and not so popular) speakers. There are someโ€ฆ
