Memorex 1 44MB Floppy Discontinued Manufacturer Review

I've been looking everywhere for a really good USB drive for at least two years. ALL the others I checked didn't get great reviews and I have about a gazillion old floppies to go through. This drive is probably better than any drive that was available when drives were used on a daily basis. It works great, you just plug it in and start digging through all those old floppy disks you have. It is well made, works perfectly and is not too expensive. Even if it was a little hard to find.

The product is worth its low price and works very well. The delivery was fast and I would recommend this product to everyone.

A few years ago we had a digital camera that used floppy disks. Since then we've moved on to other digital cameras and the laptop we have now didn't have a floppy drive. To save images from floppy disks, I needed a reader. When this one arrived I plugged it into the USB and it worked right away. I haven't tried saving anything to a floppy disk, but it does a good job of viewing photos from floppy disks.

Yes, it's a shame that I still need something like this, but this device works perfectly. Plug and play - plugged into my USB port and in a matter of seconds the good old A drive was up and running. Roughly twice as fast as the old "standard" floppy drive it replaces (both reading and writing).
