Extremely sharp.
Extremely Hot? I had the impression that the edges were being sanded. I cut myself pretty bad just to pull one of the pieces out of the bag. The sides are sharper than some of my kitchen knives and the edges are very sharp and pointy. Not quite the condition I expected them to be in. Handle with care.
