Review on 🌬️ IGERESS Formaldehyde Pollution Detector: Tracking and Recording Air Quality by Radney Taala

Despite some not so good reviews I have to say that I am very satisfied with this device. As indicated by the on-screen prompts, I calibrated the device and when it was done, I walked around my house, asked someone to blow smoke on it, and pulled up to a smelly trailer. Every situation brought the results I expected. Semi-finished products and smoke put the device in the category of unhealthy and serious. One thing that is apparent is that the real time is actually around 15 seconds before the results are shown. So you can't just go from room to room quickly, and if something like smoke ties the meter to a high reading, you have to give it a few long seconds before the sensor goes back to normal readings. In addition, the device is very easy to set up, program, calibrate manually and give offsets if the automatic calibration is not satisfactory. It has a decent schedule with an adjustable time rate. Being picky it would have been nice to have a computer interface but for the price I'm not complaining. There are 3 very minor annoyances that the device has. From time to time the device basically resets all values to 0, as if the sensor were resetting itself or recalibrating itself, but then picked up where it left off. And second, it only shows Celsius for temperature, not F like we normally use in the US, and the time is of course in 24-hour format. Finally, if you exit this screen to view other values, data logging will not continue. When you come back, it all starts over again.
