Very expensive and short lived

I love my Fluke 199C oscilloscope except for one thing: that battery. It needs to be changed about every few years. Just outrageous.

Pros
  • 3500 mAh capacity
Cons
  • Expensive

Original Fluke battery.

Now my oscilloscope is like new. Expensive for what it is considering the original battery only lasted a year with moderate use. Not a great price, but the selection is really small (they don't use standard sized cells, making it difficult to replace them yourself), bite the bullet if you want your Fluke scope to work.

Pros
  • NiMH rechargeable battery
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

This is really the real deal. I would recommend you buy this for a fake. There is a big difference with cheap batteries. You know what they say, you get what you pay for. The battery looked just like the picture. It even came with foam strips on the sides so it fits snugly against the case and doesn't rattle or
