I wanted a second monitor for my home office. A large monitor makes it much easier to view and edit spreadsheets. I have Excel on the same screen and another software application on my laptop. I gave 4 stars because the stand could have been 2-4 inches taller. Otherwise, clarity and functionality are great! Caution: A 23-inch monitor is too big for a small home office. If you're short on desktop space, consider something smaller.
