Our local stores don't sell anything of this quality. There are no "fillers" to go to waste - every piece of this food has consistently gone zero waste from the food bowl this summer. We fed tugs, hawfinches, star jays, finches and a few smaller colorful songbirds. The birds liked this seed mix. yes it is expensive However, I've tried a few other cheaper brands and a couple of times we've had moths as well as wasted "filler" that the birds wouldn't eat. Now I'm going to use this mixture for summer top dressing.
