The DicaPac case for my Canon compact camera definitely exceeded all expectations! Time at the beach and snorkeling for the first time. I was looking for a case to use the camera I already have that is economical and doesn't affect the quality of my photos. I wasn't disappointed! The housing is suitable for both underwater and surface photography. In fact, I can hardly tell the difference between shots taken with and without this body (unless there were water droplets on the lens cap). By following all recommended sealing procedures, I could snorkel for hours, spend days at the beach, take lots of photos and don't damage your camera with sand or water! The only downside was the alignment of my camera's telescopic zoom lens with the lens barrel on the body. I figured the best way around this is to remove as much air as possible from the case when sealing and also rub down the plastic of the case so it sticks to the screen on the back of the camera. This seemed to keep the camera in the same spot so the lens wouldn't bump against the body. Just a small price to capture my beach and sea memories with my trusty camera!
