The senior attorneys are very personable and helpful - nothing that I disliked about them personally; they were approachable with me during my engagement when questions came up from time to time throughout my work process so far. They have excellent attorneys working at the firm who help tremendously in dealing with international transactions as well as U.S. business entities. We engaged Simpson Thacher to do an audit/internal investigation on certain accounting functions performed by CPA-to-be candidates before allowing these people into the U.S., which would be a benefit since it was for tax purposes and because we operate in different jurisdictions (i.e. China requires more diligence on part of clients). The firm is very professional in its dealings with clients. We had a difficult case which was resolved well by the firm. I would not hesitate to use them again. They are very responsive to client needs. The firm is also very good at managing risk. There were no issues that we encountered while working with the firm. The firm is very responsive to client needs.
