Review on 🐠 SUN YT-304 18 Liters Per Minute Aquarium Air Pump - 4 Outlets, 8.5 Watts, 120 Gallon Capacity by Maurice Ford

Great for hydroponics. Releases a lot of air compared to other options, heats up less and makes less noise. Initially, I received a higher capacity pump, but one made of metal with a square section. It let out a lot of air but was very noisy and got very hot (could burn your hand). It emits about half as much air, but is 10 times louder and slightly warmer. I would have preferred if it had 2 exits and more air per exit but it is. Concerned about noise from another reviewer, but they must have gotten a manufacturing defect because this pump isn't silent, but it's not as loud as a vibrating phone (and it's quiet if you turn it really quiet) Pros: +Very quiet ( ca the same as small 5lpm units but 15lpm - can be heard humming 10ft away in the same room) + low heat dissipation and low power consumption. Looks a bit dated in design. It looks good but the photos show it was designed in the 70's. Overall great for hydroponics and probably great for fish.
