I like that it's cheap and comes with a USB 3.0 cable. The instructions are only good if you use it to record video to file. I wanted to use it with OBS (streaming software) to capture my tablet's output and send it to my desktop where I'm streaming for a college class. Here's a downside (although I don't think it's really a product downside): you have to make sure you plug it into a USB 3.0 port! If you plug it into a regular port, there will be a beep and Windows will recognize the device, but you won't get any video. only black screen. Once I plugged it into the USB port, it worked flawlessly. No HDMI cables are supplied, so make sure you have the right cable for your needs. In my case, I needed an HDMI to Micro HDMI cable (which I already had) to connect my tablet to this thing.
