Review on Waterproof Motion Sensor Wall Lanterns For Outdoor Porch - Anti-Rust LED Lamp In Black Plastic, Ideal For Garage, Patio, Doorway, And Front Door Wall Sconce by Anthony Savage

Motion sensor is out to lunch at night

First, you need to know that unless you are going to caulk it generously, water will get in the back, certainly on stucco. I did caulk mine a lot and it did not leak. The installation otherwise was fairly straightforward if you have basic electrical knowledge. Try not to get across the 120v circuit to avoid a shock. From the start, is seemed fairly poor at motion sensing.waving of arms at different heights and distances, etc. didn't phase it, and yet once it awhile, it did come on.I finally just let it stay on, but the whole point was to use less electricity at night.only to detect motion. At some point I found some things to try online, but they didn't work either.I finally turned it off at the switch and I never use it unless I want to light up that side of my house to throw my trash away. a total of 1 or two minutes. My advice would be to try another brand.I am on Ebay right now looking for better rated products.Sorry about the late review, but I tried everything I could and would not feel comfortable not saying something.Cheers.hope this helped.
