Purchased to upgrade and waterproof a 40 year old boat console. A few observations from the first half dozen connections.* As others have pointed out, I don't think they're true. Use 18 gauge 16 AWG red wire; The 14-16 plug cannot be crimped tight enough to hold it. * The connection is a mechanical crimp - not low temperature solder glue like you may see in other connector kits. * The shrink sleeve is strong enough that it is not easily cut. B. with a crimping tool, is compressed evenly and adheres fairly well to the wire. * Heat shrink tubing does not bend before or after heating - if you want a right angle, do it while it's hot. Note - the blue connectors in my picture are the standard panel, red, from this kit. Next time I'd plan better and just grab the sensors and connection types I need, but it's a good start. Point deduction for oversize.
