On the plus side, they are cheap and in most cases they do.

Positive, they are cheap and in most cases they make you think TSA negative. They're cheaply made. They fall apart without frequently pressing the release button. The TSA took my kit. Made 20 round trips before deciding the accumulated measurement was too long.
