Review on πŸš‚ Radio Flyer Steel All Terrain Wagon by Aaron Gordon

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Better quality 70 years ago

I had a Radio Flyer van in the 50's and that is the main reason I bought this one. However, it is now manufactured in China, which is reflected in several ways. 1) The nuts are a combination of SAE and metric, so using a crescent wrench is probably recommended. 2) The wood is very bad. It comes very close to the cork wood we used on our airplane models 70 years ago. One of the racks was broken upon arrival (I taped it back together to use). 3) An additional cotter pin would not hurt. I misused mine and couldn't use it again. Luckily I had them in my workshop. 4) The caps on the valve stems are very difficult to remove. Please tell the company to move production back to the US to improve quality and finish. Additionally, some of the competing products have the simple function of a handle that fits under the bed for easy storage. That would be a significant improvement.

Cons
  • Almost never
