Review on 🔧 Lubegard 60902 Automatic Transmission Fluid Protectant: The Ultimate 10 oz. Solution for Transmission Health by Justin Wallace

I'm not a fan of gear additives. In my experience, there is no substitute for fresh ATP, and supplements are a band-aid. However, Lubeguard has a strong reputation and I have successfully used other options in the past to tailor fluids for different applications. Again, while I'm not a fan of additives, just 2 ounces of these completely eliminated the harsh shifting in my car. 2018 f150 10r80 gearbox. This gearbox steadily deteriorated, skipping gears out of 3rd, rattling or lagging shifts and otherwise being poor at best. The retailer did little to help, resetting the adjustments, which helped somewhat, but not entirely. LG's proper dose is around 12 ounces for this gear, but again, I didn't want to change the specs of the liquid. My theory is that something is stuck in the valve body. So I used up just under 1/4 bottle (about 2 ounces) and after 15 minutes of driving it was as good as new. Since Ford doesn't really say what's wrong with this transmission, I don't know. whether it is something that benefits everyone or something that someone else should be doing. But it worked very well for me.
