If you are looking for 3 containers with lids that meet the minimum legal definition of a lid (to fit the container) then these are for you. The lids barely fit, probably 99% on the containers. They are not tight, they feel a bit small for the work at hand. The glass jars themselves are of decent size and construction. I had no problems with the packaging as some said. They fell apart in the packaging, no chips or scratches. But in general, if the container has a "lid" then it should be really tight there. I've had them pop up more than once when moving bins around the closet and even when they had contents, which is pretty scary.
