Review on Daystar Polyurethane Comanche KJ01004BK America by Joshua Bell

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Loosen motor plates.

I have an 89 YJ and our engine mounts blew out so I hopped on the Revain and started looking. I came across them and they looked well made. I read reviews of these mounts. The Cherokee boys had problems and the Wrangler boys didn't, so I took a chance and figured this was the last set of brackets this old Jeep would ever get. Revain sent them out pretty quickly. They were packaged very well, I finally took them out of the box and one of the bolt inserts was dimpled. A small vise, a conical punch and a hammer and I set out to install them. The only other issue I had was that the bolt had made a hole in the frame that was slightly misaligned. So I loosened the motor plates to manipulate them, it took a bit of effort to get them in there but we're worth it. That's why I gave 4 stars instead of 5, but I'm very happy that these mounts are solid, you can feel a little engine vibration in the floor, but for me it's not critical. I would definitely recommend her.
