I left the bumper cover flat in my trunk for a week to fix the crease caused by the way the seller picked the box up. I probably didn't have to wait a whole week, but I also waited for a warm day, as the instructions say. It was 85 degrees today so I went ahead and did it. Pro tip: I found this recommendation from someone who has installed another bumper protector on a VW and he suggested splitting the tape in half so you can do it in half rather than trying to do the whole thing discard part and ruin it. So, as you can see from the first picture, that's what I did. It wasn't a perfect center split, but it made installation a lot easier. You can also see that the rubber is still curling at the ends, but it's not as bad as when it started. Another thing I suggest I didn't do but wish I had used a piece of tape or whatever to mark where the center should be so it's even on the bumper but I think I did a good job and judged it by eye. I got this piece because as you can see in the second picture there were scratches from the previous owner, somehow my previous Camry who was 11 years old when I got it managed to avoid the scratches until I got it and I did managed to keep him there. No scratches in the 5 years I've had it, but the first owner of this 2017 Camry I managed to scratch it in the 4 years that he's had it. Anyway it was easy to install and I will update if anything negative happens to the product as it ages but I don't foresee it.
