This is my first time buying an orthopedic chair and I have nothing to compare it to. Much more comfortable than a regular chair. The back supports the lower back and generally makes you keep your back straight (in a regular chair you either slide down by the end of the day, or lie down on the table). It is also comfortable to sit normally for a long time. I liked the quality of the materials, plastic without a specific smell, all the details easily assembled and fit. In general, I recommend.
