Review on Bifold Lambskin Wallet in Sleek Black Leather by Raymond Vogel

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Quality/Ease of Use: My rating

That's normal for a $9 wallet, so don't expect too much. The odor issue that others have mentioned is there, but that's how the leather smells. If you've only had synthetics, it may take some time to get used to. Card and ID slots and plastic inserts as described and shown in the pictures. But the card/ID slots are very narrow, except for the bottom two, which are more of a slash. The biggest problem is that when you fill all the slots, the wallet is NOT CLOSED. Always wants to open, and when you put it on the table, it opens at about 45 degrees. Plastic inserts are also cheap and after a week of use one came loose. It's best to just drop it in the counting area if you can do that. The beak zone is flat and difficult to lower to the ground. Allows them to stick out a bit over the edge. In general, if you only use half of the slots, you're probably fine, but not if you plan on using everything in full.

Pros
  • The wallet is the right quality for the money. It certainly won't be strong enough to last for a while, but it's not what I wanted.
Cons
  • Weak seams that can easily break
