Crap! DO NOT BUY this crap product! I plugged mine into the Surface Pro's only USB port and tested it with a recently purchased SanDisk USB stick and a Logitech keyboard/mouse nano-receiver. This went on for about 5 minutes until I suddenly found that my mouse and keyboard stopped working. As I looked at the hub, I noticed that the bright LED had disappeared and Windows reported a USB power surge - which means there was a short in the hub. This is ridiculous and I can't find anything worse than this. It burned the only USB port on my computer! I've been using USB products since the first versions of USB 1.0 and this is the first time my USB port has burned out because of a stupid product. you have been warned I am returning the product and backing up my computer over an unbearably slow wireless network.
