I have three Hurtta parkas, this was the fourth purchase for our dogs. For dressing I prefer our other parkas. Your dog needs to wear the jacket, not over his head, and it has a zip closure at the back. Definitely not the strongest design for a wavy dog. It's not a waterproof jacket but I sprayed ours with a waterproof spray and it worked. It tightens the tummy and collar area and definitely helps with sitting. It fits true to size but XL is for very large kegs. Our 90 lb Corso blend was too thin for a size XL, but we can streamline it to fit it fully. The quality here is excellent apart from the fit being like other Hurtta products and this is a very stylish jacket. All stitching looks good and the jacket seems to last a while.
