I bought this because I had a severe allergic reaction to the original Fitbit band. It looks like a burn. For this reason I needed a group of other material. I was very surprised as I had never had an allergic reaction to any material before. The original Fitbit strap never felt comfortable on my hand. I switched it from hand to hand every morning because of the discomfort. Once I didn't change hands, by the end of the second day I had a 1.25 inch burn on my hand the shape and size of the Fitbit strap. So far this strap is very comfortable and looks good to me. I will just say that it differs from the photo in that there is a silver border (not black) around the Fitbit's face. I bought a black ribbon. Black and silver looks quite attractive. If anything changes I'll edit this post, but I don't expect any problems. The look of this braided band is simply stunning.
