Good quality, suitable for tent tarpaulins
I used them to connect two fiberglass pole sections for a diving flag that I use when snorkeling. The tubes allow me to split the pole in two for towing, but assemble them together so that the flag is raised high above the water and alerts boaters that someone is snorkeling below. The tubes are adjustable in the sense that you can wrap more or less tape around the bars to keep the tubes tight to the tube.
