This gel works great if not better than the more expensive gels I have thick wavy hair and the gel keeps my hair where I want it, the scent is light and unobtrusive, plus it works. No tangles makes your hair feel non-stiff, although your hair keeps your hair in place. I can't say enough about the gel. I've used enough gels in my life to say this is the only one that works for me. It's a great product
