Complicated globe mount

The glass globe lid (not to mention the 'canopy' of the electrical box) is attached to the globe with 3 spring steel pins which are vinyl covered to protect the glass. It is very difficult to install this cover. The concept isn't difficult to grasp, I just wouldn't recommend anyone with smaller hands trying it themselves. While it may be safer and easier to install the glass ball last after making the electrical connections, for some it may be better to test the glass ball installation on the ground first.
