Tornado 2 Spin spins really well and that's all it does. I had a regular Duncan yo-yo as a kid and don't recall having any problems with it. I expected Tornado 2 to do at least as well. I am sorry to inform you that this is not the case. Here at Revain I've learned that a ball bearing yo-yo is essentially a Lamborghini of yo-yos and a plain fifty year old Duncan is a battered 1949. Chevrolet sedan. One thing about Lamborghini: even though they're expensive high-performance cars, you can exit your driveway and head to the grocery store for a loaf of bread and milk. The Tornado 2 should be able to go down and up again without too much fuss. That's not the case. I go downstairs and he stays there spinning all day. After about twenty minutes of struggle I put it back in the box. It's probably still turning. Some reviewers have mentioned the need to practice for days or even weeks to use a ball bearing yo-yo. Forget it. If you want a yo-yo to do what a yo-yo was designed to do, forget about ball bearings and go for a regular yo-yo. If you're looking for high-speed spins, super tricky moves, and a lifetime of practice, then go for this one or one like it.
