Edged Rolls on Crispy Bread

I purchased this based on reviews which were at the top of many lists. I'm making sourdough bread and needed a serrated cutting knife. I've seen several videos of reviewers slicing crispbread and lightly cracking the crust. My other knives would just ricochet. This blade does cut, but the blade is also thin and therefore I cannot recommend this knife for thick crust bread. The sharp knives rolled hard and I am deeply concerned that small pieces of metal will be left behind. Cutting two loaves of bread left them badly twisted. I've been forced to patch the rim with steel and am looking for a stiffer, hard blade for crusty bread. Blade flex and handle work well but require some skill. It is easily rejected, but when used carefully produces precise slices. This knife is really good for soft, delicate items and can cut very accurately. Slicing banana bread, pies and sandwiches is smooth and detailed. So it's really not for hard crusty bread. That's why I bought it. Hence the low ratings.
