Review on PHILIPS 901573 Master Color Elite by Lisa Simmons

Changing from 400w MH to 315w CMH has completely ruined my garden! All plans were delicate and stylish, with short internodes and a bushy plant structure. Now all branches have achieved four times the inter-node spacing in just a week with the 315W CMH! The idea that a 315CMH lamp can replace a 600W MH lamp is complete nonsense. I don't care what the numbers say, plants say it all! I have never seen so much stretch in my life until I switched to this 315 CMH lamp. This lamp strongly encourages my plants to stretch like they are getting almost no light and the stems are smaller and weaker only after I switched from 4000K 400W MH to this lamp. Not only that, all the leaves on the underside of my plants are now turning yellow due to the lack of light. While there is no yellowing with my 400 watt MH bulb, the internodes are much closer and the plants even look healthier with thicker large stems and leaves. I have no idea how they reach 16 inches from the crown when the plants are reaching for the light 12 inches from the crown.
