I also bought it for gaming along with my gaming laptop. When I opened the box I was very happy with the size and upon installing I noticed that other reviews said that the stand's connection to the monitor was disabled, they were not mistaken. At one point, the second screw didn't fit properly, so I screwed the top screw in as tight as I could. This creates a slight monitor shake, but I can deal with it. Overall the display is excellent, very bright and adjustable, a great addition if you need a monitor for gaming or everyday computing. I might buy a second one soon to add to my gaming rig.
