Perfect for my needs
My current capture card has an RCA input but it can't handle the lower resolutions that some older consoles display and my monitor doesn't support resolutions that RCA devices output . I use this to zoom to 1080 so my capture card and monitor can display the output for retro live streaming systems. The only downside I have is that all the images are stretched to a 16:9 aspect ratio. Luckily I can fix this when streaming and some TVs have the ability to force aspect ratio but if not you can stick with stretched images. Sh, which can be a major downside for purists.
