Tips and tricks on braces, splints and bandages

Tips: - It's a cotton based K TAPE which means it's not sticky like a lot of other brands that are synthetic. Synthetic brands have better support and more different layers integrated into the fabric for better support/hold. Make sure you clean your skin before applying. An alcohol swab will help remove skin oils to improve the adhesion of the tape. If you have sensitive skin, consider purchasing a skin prep product to use under this tape after wiping your skin with an alcohol swab. It's easy to find on Amazon by searching for leather prep (the blacksmith and nephew have the best product). Preparing the skin creates a very thin protective layer of silicone between your skin and the tape, which protects your skin and improves the tape's grip. (I was able to gain an extra day with this) - To remove the tape, apply some baby oil to a cotton ball and start peeling off the end of the tape, then place the cotton ball on your skin and rub while slowly pulling the K TAPE away from the skin. This makes it easy to remove the tape and doesn't damage the skin as much. The oil helps break the bond with your skin. There seems to be a difference in color to color relationships, but personally I haven't bought enough to find a better one. those who. This brand does not have a stretch sensor on the band, which can make it difficult to accurately determine the stretch. If you are new to K TAPE, there are brands that have an indicator woven into the tape so you can see how tight you are pulling each piece of tape. Theraband has hex imprints that work well for this. Generally there are better brands out there but chances are this is what you are looking for if you need it for less than a full 2-3 days. It seems a lot easier to roll than many other brands.
