I installed this case about a week ago. During this time, I often dropped my cell phone. Once from my car roof, three times from my back pockets, twice from my front pockets, once from my two-year-old daughter who threw it against the wall, and again from the bar at my apartment. From someone who is very clumsy, if someone like me hasn't already scratched my phone, you can be assured that the product will work as intended. This case fits snugly and is quite difficult to remove (this is not a negative comment). If you don't want your display's sensitivity to be reduced by the included plastic screen protector, I personally recommend pairing the UBP with a Whitestone Dome Glass screen protector. All you have to do is remove the plastic screen protector (easy) and then CAREFULLY secure the phone (with the screen protector attached) into the case. If you didn't do it right, you can slightly lift the dome glass. If you do it right, your phone will be well protected from all sides. For those worried about the price of the UBP and Whitestone Dome Glass combo, think of it this way: what's about $80 (total) compared to replacing an $800 phone out of pocket to have to?
