The cushion is easy to install and does not block the airbag in the seat. This makes the chair cooler as my chair is leather and pretty much anything above it would be cooler. However, I can feel the air moving along the bottom and back of the chair. The airflow isn't that great, but it's enough to keep my back from sweating. When I need more air, I sometimes sit up straight to temporarily get more air on my back, and then lean back. Even with the fan off, the chair becomes more bearable. A disadvantage is that the fan is very noisy. I'll gladly accept that in exchange for a cooler chair, but it can be very annoying for others. It's about as loud as my AC fan running at full blast.
