Tired of all those little smartwatch straps. Many years ago I had the same wide cuff for one of my favorite watches. I had to make some changes to the bracelet to get the heart rate sensor to work. I had to do a little work...I just used an office knife. Looks ugly... but hey... it works and you can't tell from above that I was a hacker. I used the charger to do the first lap and then scaled it down, knowing I could always scale it up if I did too. Silicone straps I just removed one set from. I agree that they have an odor. Pretty durable...but like others said it's wearing off. I'm pretty sure I'll be buying another one in a different style to change up from time to time. I really just wish they didn't smell so strong. This girl is happy with them. I should have mentioned it, it's the smaller of the two watch sizes. I would definitely think they would work with a larger size too. UPDATE: I've had it for a few weeks now and it's very comfortable to wear and doesn't smell. STILL happy :) UPDATE #2: I bought another strap in a different style from the same brand! I've been wearing it for a few months now and I just love how it feels. To be honest, it doesn't even feel like the clock is ticking. I wear it 24/7 except for charging where I just stick the charger between the skin and the watch. Works perfect. A few weeks ago it wore out while digging in the mountains and it has withstood some abuse and then cleaned up and looks brand new. Of course I have a "bumper" on a smartwatch. I even jumped in the lake because I forgot it was on. Oh I let it dry in the sun and everything is fine. The smell is gone and I haven't had any issues with the buttons holding the watch. The strap is definitely a bit worn on the outside and has become softer over the years. The last three photos show what it looks like after a few months of wearing. Still happy!
