OLD FAMILY PHOTOS GONE!
ATTENTION! My old family photos (some over 100 years old) were ruined by this scanner! The photographs showed light blue, almost blue markings, traces on the photographs. I scanned the photos in an old album at MED resolution at HIGH and it turned out that the light from the scanner leaked through the paper and wherever there were gaps between photos on the pages behind what I was scanning , this was generated . The photos themselves appear to have helped absorb the light and protect the pages behind, but the large amount of LED lighting has resulted in what appears to be overexposure in the form of a 'blue mark'. As said, this was a very old album so it's possible that some acidity from the sides caused a more dramatic reaction, but be careful. DO NOT use on old photos!
