Introducing an OBD-II scanner

I flipped a coin and bought this scanner because it seemed to offer what I was looking for. My current OBD-II scanner has not been able to clear the veil on some of the ECM codes on my new vehicles. So far this scanner seemed to be able to read codes that my other scanner couldn't. Don't be fooled, this scanner is complicated, not particularly intuitive, and the instructions are 'good', but it wouldn't hurt if they were a bit more detailed and organized. Something like "if you want to do it, do it this way"; To be honest I haven't used this scanner often enough to be sure of what it's telling me. My old reader jumped straight to the code, but this launch didn't, at least not when I pressed the keys. This is a reader that requires practice to use effectively. Preferably before you actually need it.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • I have doubts
