I installed the fan over two weeks ago. Check halfway through the install path to make sure the fan was working - and it was. Finished the install, including the dome cover, flipped the switch and nothing. So I tried taking it apart to get back to the internal wiring, but the dome cover would not detach. After searching the internet for an hour and trying to solve it in many ways, it just wouldn't budge. I called support the next day and they said the "techie" would get back to me within 4-7 days. On the 8th day I called back and they said the same thing. On the 17th day - still no word from them - I called back and. you have the idea I haven't been able to use a fan for over two weeks now and I can't do anything about it. When I called CS they said they had a few complaints about the dome cover and it was a known issue. (So you might think they have an easy solution). Bottom line: find another fan, this one isn't worth the hassle.
