The pads hold up very well! I was impressed. I used all grit and same strength. I've only used them to speed up the polishing process on some Fat Fives wheels for my Honda. The issue I had that slowed things down was intermittent chafing of the pads. I would go to the next grit and leave deeper scratches on the wheel than the previous grit! This may work for you in your application, but I've had better results with 3M paper by hand. I am not satisfied and am returning the item. I would have liked less wear resistance and a more even grit on the pads. Also, in case you're wondering, the pods were in separate bags, so if there was a risk of cross-contamination, it wasn't my fault. I even tested them before use and ran some water through them to "help" remove "foreign" grains that didn't belong. I'm disappointed because this product comes so close to being amazing if the manufacturer could fix these issues. These pads were just as strong or more durable than the 3M sandpaper I used.
