So I finally got it installed in my truck, it's deep in my center console and I wanted the backlit readability to be easy but not too bright. It was also important that the backlight color matched the console of my truck etc. And I didn't want to lose a lot of money. This thermometer was ideal for this purpose. Comes in quality packaging with detailed installation instructions. Installation was easy as all the wiring in my Ram 2500 was right there. Upon installation I was impressed with the lighting options as well as the overall legibility. It seems accurate compared to my caliber at the store. If you're looking for a quality sensor with real functionality and don't want to shell out a hundred dollar bill, get this sensor. You will not be disappointed.
